Does my footage get uploaded?
No. Every effect renders on your own machine, and your projects live in a folder on your drive. Nothing is sent to a server, ever.
What do I need to run it?
A browser and a modest GPU. 2 GB is enough, and there is nothing to install.
Chrome is the one to use. Export is fastest there, and your projects save straight into a folder on your drive. Edge and Arc work the same way. Safari and Firefox run it too, with a download step instead of the folder.
One habit worth keeping: a long session fills up the browser’s memory the way any heavy app does. If things start to feel slow, save your work, then open a fresh tab or restart Chrome. It comes back quick.
Can I use it for client work?
Yes, with a Pro license. Ladybug is free for personal use, and there is no watermark on either.
What can I export?
4K video, 8K stills, PNG sequences with alpha, transparent video, and true SVG for a single frame. Background removal is built in, so you can cut a subject out and keep that transparency all the way through.
Is there AI in the middle?
No. Everything is computed from your own footage, so what comes out is genuinely yours.
